FAAQ’s

Palomo Archery is focused on making your archery experience an enjoyable one. If you do not find the answers here, please contact us.

How can we sign up for lessons?
The best method is to email our shop and provide us the time, the number & ages of the participants in your party. Everyone in your group will need to fill out and sign a waiver form (Children will require the signature of parent or guardian).

Do I have to take a lesson? Can I just rent equipment?
As a safety precaution as well as a better overall experience, we require all beginners who have not had a lesson, either with us, or with a certified instructor at another location, take an introductory lesson. Unfortunately this is our policy and is non-negotiable as we take safety (yours, and of the people around you) extremely seriously.

Do we need to purchase any equipment?
No, Palomo Archery will provide all equipment rentals in order to shoot.

Can we rent equipment and shoot elsewhere?
No, we provide rentals for our range only.

Are there any restrictions?
Palomo Archery has a minimum age requirement of 8 years old for individual instruction, 10 years old for Group instruction (Scouts, birthday parties, etc ). We also ask all archers to avoid loose/baggy sweatshirts and open toe footwear. All participants will be required to fill out a signed waiver prior to start of the session

Are there group limitations?
Yes, we can accommodate an absolute maximum of 20 participants. Additionally, if the group consists of a large group of children, an additional instructor may be required in order to provide close supervision.

I am interested in getting my own equipment. Do you sell archery equipment?
No, Palomo Archery is primarily a range only, not an archery shop. We can provide website and local shop information, plus we can guide you in the selection process based on your needs.

Can I shoot using my own equipment?
Yes, Palomo Archery allows archers to bring in their own equipment. All equipment needs to checked and approved by the range master prior to use. Palomo Archery does not allow the use of crossbows or broadheads on our range.

I want to shoot more often. Do you have any frequent shooter discounts?
Palomo Archery has monthly rates which allow you to shoot more often. Shooting times can be limited on space available basis and group sessions take priority.

Do you have archery camps?
Palomo Archery has no archery camps but we do work with school groups and organizations to expand their activity programs. We have the ability to work with large groups of various ages.

Can I bring my friends to watch?
We reserve the right to limit the number of viewers and request that all viewers remain safely behind the shooting zone. Viewers are requested not to distract the shooter during the session.
